Naan Kabob Reveals Home-Style Afghan Bowls

TORONTO — Naan Kabob has launched its new Home-Style Afghan Bowls in collaboration with chef Matt Rosen.

For the initial launch, Naan Kabob is offering two types of bowls:

  • Spring Bowl, featuring a base of romaine lettuce and spring mix, drizzled with special dressing and topped with a choice of protein, avocado dip, yoghurt chutney, pickled onions, spiced crispy chickpeas, Afghan salata and baby cucumbers.
  • Power Bowl, featuring a base of romaine lettuce, spring mix drizzled with special dressing, basmati rice with qabli, and topped with choice of protein, avocado dip, yoghurt chutney, pickled onions, spiced crispy chickpeas, Afghan salata and baby cucumbers.

Available proteins include tandoori chicken and shami, with paneer offered exclusively for the Spring Bowl.

“We didn’t want to create just another poke bowl or salad,” says Fahim Ahmadi, VP, Marketing & Development, Naan Kabob. “We wanted to stay authentic to our brand. We’re excited to introduce this to the market and believe it’ll be a great and healthy option for both in-office lunches and our valued customers during lunch hours.”
