TORONTO — Terroir, a Toronto-based foodservice and hospitality symposium, is returning for the ninth year with a recently announced roster of special guests and presenters.

Keynote presenters will include Ruth Reichl, author and food writer; Gabrielle Hamilton, chef and owner, Prune Restaurant NYC; and Dominique Crenn, chef and restaurateur, Atelier Crenn, San Francisco. Other high-profile presenters include Mark McEwan, restaurateur; Zita Cobb, Fogo Island Inn, N.L.; and Ned Bell, chef, Four Seasons Vancouver.

“This year’s theme will focus on influential individuals who challenge colleagues and consumers to rethink and re-imagine food and beverage cultures,” said Arlene Stein, chair, Terroir. “As industry professionals, we have the power to effect change in how societies eat and drink and to create legacies that impact and strengthen the hospitality industry.”

The event will be held at Toronto’s Arcadian Court May 11. More details can be found at terroirsymposium.com.
