TORONTO — The Feastie Festival, a one-of-a-kind ‘sip and snack’ food festival, is coming to Toronto July 14. The brainchild of cocktail maven and entrepreneur Evelyn Chick, founder of Evelyn Chick Projects (ECP) Hospitality Agency, Feastie aims to shine a well-deserved spotlight on local, BIPOC & female-owned small businesses, while pairing the whole experience with “really good drinks.”

Taking place at Henderson’s Brewing Event Space from noon to 8 p.m., the event is the city’s first curated food festival that features local talent in this way.

“Feastie TO is more than just a food festival; it’s a celebration of community, diversity, and the incredible talent within Toronto’s culinary and beverage scenes. We are thrilled to bring together an eclectic mix of local, BIPOC, and female-owned businesses to create a memorable experience for all attendees,” says Chick.

The event combines elevated craft cocktails, beers, and natural wines with a diverse range of snack food offerings from local, BIPOC, and female-owned businesses. Attendees can indulge in a fusion of flavours while enjoying live music, games, and entertainment. The event is pet friendly.

“Feastie is really about giving smaller businesses and local talent a platform to reach an even wider audience,” says Chick. “By showcasing these diverse and innovative entrepreneurs, we aim to foster growth and create opportunities for these businesses to thrive in our community.”

Feastie TO was created to advocate for the growth and sustainability of an inclusive and integrated food and drink community. By shining a spotlight on individual businesses in Toronto, Feastie aims to showcase the excellence and diversity of the city’s culinary scene.
